Microsoft Comprehensive License User Guide

Service Overview

Saga University has concluded a comprehensive license agreement with Microsoft Japan, Inc. since FY2014 for the following purposes

  • Strengthening support for education and research
  • Better management of software assets to enhance information compliance
  • Savings on software purchases and upgrades
  • Supporting the Learning Environment with Student-Owned PCs

Faculty, staff and students of Saga University can use the following Microsoft software products free of charge.

  • Microsoft 365 Portal
    ・Email（Outlook）
    ・OneDrive
    ・Office on the Web（Word、Excel、PowerPoint、OneNote）
    ・Teams
    ・Visio on the Web、Forms、Stream apps,etc.
  • Microsoft Office for Desktop
    ・Faculty member：comprehensive licensed version Office（Windows、Mac）
    ・Faculty and students：Office 365 Pro Plus、Office 365 for Mac
  • Windows OS Upgrade Version (Not available to students)

For a comprehensive license of Office and Windows OS upgrade that is available only to faculty members on a university-purchased PC, download it from "Download Site for Faculty and Staff Only" below.

Office 365 Pro Plus and Office 365 for Mac, which are also available to faculty and students on their personal computers, can be downloaded and installed from【Install Office】on the Microsoft 365 Portal Start screen.

Note that you can install up to five devices.
