About eduroam

Eduroam is a roaming service that enables mutual access to campus wireless LANs among universities and other educational and research institutions. Operated on a global scale, eduroam is managed in Japan by the National Institute of Informatics (NII) under the name eduroam JP.
Saga University has been a participating institution in eduroam since March 2017.

Visitors from eduroam-enabled institutions can access the network at Saga University using their home credentials.
Similarly, members of Saga University can connect to the network at other eduroam-participating institutions when visiting.

eduroam Usage Guide

When visiting other eduroam institutions

The email address and password issued by the Computer and Network Center can be used to connect to eduroam at other participating institutions.

When Visiting Saga University

Visitors from other eduroam-enabled institutions can connect to eduroam at Saga University using the credentials issued by their home institution.
Please follow the connection instructions provided by your institution, as settings may vary.

Issuance of eduroam Guest IDs

Saga University issues eduroam guest IDs to individuals from non-participating institutions who attend academic events such as workshops or seminars hosted by the university.

If a guest ID is required, please submit the “eduroam Guest ID Application Form” along with the event invitation or brochure to the Computer and Network Center at least one week prior to the event.
