About eduroam

Eduroam is a roaming service that enables mutual use of campus wireless LAN among educational and research institutions.This eduroam is operated on a global scale. In Japan, the National Institute of Informatics (NII) plays a central role in the operation of eduroam JP. Saga University has been participating in eduroam since April 2017.

Organizations participating in eduroam can use the network at Saga University. When members of Saga University visit the participating organizations, they can use the network of the destination.

When members of Saga University visit organizations participating in eduroam

The email address and password assigned by CNC becomes the eduroam account.

When members of Eduroam participating organization comes to our university.

The eduroam account assigned by the participating organization is available. Please check the information of eduroam of your organization for details.

Issuance of an eduroam guest ID to non-participating organizations

A guest ID is issued to those who do not participate in eduroam and participate in the study sessions and lectures hosted by our university.

If a guest ID is required for a study group or seminar, submit it to CNC at least one week in advance with an "eduroam guest ID application form" and a guide or pamphlet for the study group or seminar.
